Don't we all just love hats? Well Bristol of
HoneyBendVintage organized a swap for us hat lovers some time back and called it the Kentucky Derby Hat Swap. My swap partner Ginny is from the UK. I got busy on the crafting table which was incredibly fun, which had me thinking perhaps I should have gone for a milliners course of some sort, learn the real tricks of the trade. My amateur skills had me choosing a pastel palette of pretty blings , some fur and feathers. Ginny was kind enough to let me in on her likes which made choosing the embellishments much much easier, remember it is fickle little Adla we are talking about here. Well officially, we are to reveal the hats on the 2nd of May, so I shall be good and not spoil the fun. The picture is just a little sneak peek of my wrapped swap making its way to the UK. Stay tuned for the hat party on blog land tomorrow as other bloggers reveal their creations.Till then, Much blogging Love,
