Friday Flea Finds

Back in the days when I was a teenager( not too long ago) , I dreaded living in this city where the population was hugely made up of nannas and pops. Everything felt like it was mainly catered for those who were on walking sticks. If you've been to Perth , you'll probably get my drift. Fortunately enough I have now formed a different opinion of this place.I simply love it. LOVE, love, love Perth, nothing much has changed since I was a teenager but thanks to all these old people on their walking sticks, Ooops no! (Now they are on their motorized ferrari carts) ,there are wonderful flea markets to count on. See the connection , old people getting rid of their old things, it just spells out a treasure trove filled with vintage goodies. It's all like a big treasure hunt for me. There are many flea markets held on the weekends so my big blue book is well planned ahead of time.I go to these markets not knowing what to expect but usually trail home with a boot filled with interesting vintage finds. 'Hoorah!' to all the old people with beautiful things to let go. As the saying goes one persons junk is another's treasure. Well all I can say to that is that I've surely found lots of treasure. I have decided to make Friday the day we showcase Vintage Delights Flea Market Finds .So be sure to check out what we've dug out from our treasure trove every Friday. Some of the items will be sold in the shop. These are this weeks great finds,

Hiya, thanks for visiting my blog, just had to have a peek at yours. We lived near Fremantle for around 7 years and just loved the lifestyle over there. My eldest daughter is a West Australian born and bred!! Used to love the car boot sales over there, sounds like they are getting better and better!!
cheers
Alicia
